長い木枠に数十種類の異なる
図案の刺繍…。

短いもの
長いもの
丸いもの
反転されたもの
色々な形の刺繍パーツ。

結果論から言えば
これらの刺繍パーツは
上手にはめ込めることができました。
結果論？
そう、この時点では
まだ服のサイズ（パターン）も
どうなってるかわかっておりません…。

多分この位だろうな…
で全てのパーツをラフ画から図案おこしまで
フリーハンドで描き
心配をしながらも前進。
しかし勘は見事的中！
サイズは丁度良っかたです。

大変なのはここから…
これら約70ものパーツを
まつり付けなければなりません。
大変な日々でした。

これらおパールやビーズ、
スパンコールにコードなどの刺繍素材、
それから完成した刺繍パーツ（画像６、７）などは
見事に一つも外れる（取れる、切れる）
こともなく完璧でした！

ここでやっとホッと一息…。

アトリエはそろそろ19年目。
日々成長を感じます！

Dozens of different designs on a

Short, long, round, 
and variously shaped embroidery parts.

In the end, I was able to 
fit these embroidery parts in well.
Consequentialism?
Yes, at this point, 
I don't even know what the 
clothing size (pattern) will be yet....

I drew all the parts freehand 
from the rough sketch to the 
pattern and moved forward while worrying.
However, my intuition was right on target!
The size is just right.

The hard part starts here...
About 70 parts had to be attached.
It was a tough day.

These embroidery materials such 
as pearls, beads, sequins, cords, etc., 
and the finished embroidery parts (images 6 and 7) were perfect, 
not a single part came off (came off or broke)!

Finally, we can breathe a sigh of relief...

The atelier has been in operation for 19 years.
I feel it grows day by day!

襟に赤いコード刺繍

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

なんだか赤い服…。
これは満智羅（まんちら）と言って
甲冑の下に着きて
防御性能を高めるものです。

その満智羅（まんちら）の襟部分に
細工をした刺繍…。
時代劇ではないので
時代背景は無視。
その為、
襟端の黒い帯や所々にビーズなど入れて
ちょっと装飾を…。

また、
面を全て埋め尽くすように
アジアンコードでチェーンステッチ。
そしてその上からシルク糸で装飾。

んー
それでもなんだかのっぺらしてる…。

そこで…襟の角に
リング状のウッドビーズに糸を巻き込んで作った
装飾を縫い着け、
中心にワンポイントになるようキューブビーズを…。

シンプルな刺繍ですが
この中にはいろんなステッチやビーズが
装飾されてます…。

Some kind of red clothes....
This is called "Manchira,
" which is an undergarment worn under the armor.

The embroidery on the collar of the manchira....
This is not a period drama, 
so the historical background is ignored.
Therefore, the black band at the edge 
of the collar and beads in some places 
are used for decoration.

Also, chain-stitched with Asian 
cords to cover the entire surface.
Then, silk thread was used to decorate the top of it.

But it still looks kind of flat....

So...I made a ring-shaped wooden bead
with thread wrapped around it I sewed a decoration made
 by wrapping thread around a ring-shaped wood bead.

It is a simple embroidery.

夕陽に反射する刺繍

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

木枠に張った刺繍が夕陽に反射してとても綺麗…。
リボンのように長く刺繍した作品です。

ゴールドの竹ビーズの上に
三角や丸いビーズを乗せ
少し凹凸感を出しました。

さてさて仕上げに…と思った時、
ちょうど夕陽が入り込み
とても素敵な反射が！

今日も非常に日差しが強く
アトリエに篭りながら
納品迫っている作品に取り掛かり中。

この画像の作品は半年前ですが
なんだか時が過ぎるのがとてつも早い！

アトリエの考えとして
製作物は具体的には言えませんが
いろんなところで皆様の目に
入っているかも…。

綺麗で
ユーモラスで
楽しい刺繍作品をモットーに
挑戦し続ける刺繍アトリエでいたいな…。

Embroidery reflecting the setting sun....
This piece is embroidered long like a ribbon.

Triangular and round beads were 
placed on top of gold bamboo beads
to give it a slightly uneven look.

Just when I was about to finish it, 
the setting sun came in 
and created a very nice reflection!

The sun is shining so brightly today that 
I am working on a piece that is about to be
delivered while holed up in my atelier.

The work in this image was created half a year ago,
 but time flies by so fast!

I can't tell you exactly what I'm working on,
 but you may have seen it in various places....

I would like to be an embroidery atelier that continues to
challenge itself with the motto "beautiful, 
humorous, and fun embroidery works"....

１着分で身頃が１枚とスカートが８枚
それがもう１着分。
いつまで納品すればいいですか？
できれば１ヶ月後…。

！？

ん〜出来る限りがんばります！

昨年の９月頃…
とある作品の最初の打ち合わせで
話を進めながら終盤の質問の一部。

スカートが８枚仕立てで
１枚のパターンの長さが１m
裾幅が７０㌢くらい
２着分だから…１６枚と身頃が２枚。

１枚の身頃に２.５日でしょ、
つまり２着で５日…。
残り２５日でスカート１６枚を振り分けると…
１ヶ月フルに刺繍しても
１枚に関われる日数は１.５日。

当然１人では終わりません。
８枚仕立てのスカートはそれぞれ図案が異なります。
図案を写すのも１時間かかってしまいます。
そこから１mの布を木枠に張るのだって大変。
ここまで来たらやっと刺繍。
この時点で残り時間は…!!
時間を考えるのはやめましょう。
常に出来上がった時の
綺麗な状態を頭でイメージして
モチベーションアップです。
そこで…
納期には間に合わせないといけないので
ここはマンパワーの総動員で解決。

こうやって日々日々挑戦です。

For one dress, there is one body and eight skirts.
That's for one more dress.
How long do I have to deliver it?
Preferably in a month....

Hmmm... I will do my best as much as I can!

Around September last year...
Some of the questions asked at the
end of the first meeting for a particular piece.

The skirt is tailored in 8 pieces, 
and the length of each pattern is 1 meter,
 and the hem width is about 70cm.
For two pieces...that's 16 pieces and 2 body pieces.

It takes 2.5 days for one body, 
which means 5 days for 2 pieces....
With 25 days left to distribute the 16 skirts...
 Even if you embroider for a full month... 
1.5 days for each piece.

Of course, it cannot be done by one person.
Each of the 8 skirts has a different design.
It takes one hour to copy the pattern.
From there, 
it is hard work to stretch 1 meter of cloth on a wooden frame.
Once we reach this point, 
we can finally embroider.
At this point, the remaining time is...!
Let's not think about the time.
Always visualize in your mind's eye how 
beautiful the finished product will be.
 Always imagine how beautiful it will look 
when it's finished. and motivate yourself.
So... We have to meet the delivery date.
So we mobilize all of our manpower to solve the problem.

This is how we challenge ourselves day in and day out.

アートな刺繍

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

これは、刺繍。
アクセサリー仕立て。
ビンテージではりません。
アトリエで納品した
新しい刺繍です。

１月頃こんな刺繍を作ってました。
その時の画像です。
目の刺繍
唇の刺繍
肩章の刺繍
星型、十字…
色々な刺繍です。

なんだかたくさん作ったので
適当に集めたら
顔の様なアート作品？ができました。
（画像一番上）

この作品で一番大変なのは
素材の配置。
ラインストーンだけを使ってしまうと
全体的に偏ってしますので、
ビーズやその他の副資材を組み合わせて
一つ一つ違った刺繍を作り上げました。

よーく見ると
組み合わせがそれどれ違ってます！

全部で５４アイテム。
２週間これらアイテムを作り続けたので
頭が混乱！

それでも集めて見ると楽しいですね。

Delivered in my atelier. This is a new embroidery.

I was making this kind of embroidery around January.
Here is a picture of that time.
Embroidery of eyes

Embroidery of shoulder patches
Star shape, crosses...
Various embroidery.

I made a lot of them. I collected them at random. 
I made an artwork that looks like a face. 
(The top of the image).

The hardest part of this work is the 
placement of the materials.
If I use only rhinestones the overall 
appearance of the piece will be biased, 
so I combined beads and other
 secondary materials to create
 a different embroidery for each piece. 
I used beads and other secondary materials to
 make each embroidery different from the others.

If you look closely the combinations are all different!

There were 54 items in total.
After 2 weeks of making these items I was confused!

Still, it's fun to collect them.
