東京のコレクションの時期でも
いろんな刺繍が届きます。

制作途中の刺繍ですが
ゴールドのビーズとコード
そしてその他の素材が
縫い付けられようとしている
画像です。

６人体制で作業しても
１週間はかかるかな。
この画像は先週の水曜日。
今は（9月２日）はもう少し
進んでいますがここで問題発生！

服が来ない…！

なぜ服が来ないと大問題？

それは６日に納品しなければいけないのに、
刺繍は完成し最後に服に縫い付けるだけの状態。

縫製と刺繍を同時進行にしないと
間に合わないので、
刺繍は刺繍で進んで
服は服で進む…といった状態。

早く縫い付けたいのに
服が来ないと作業ストップ！

ただでさえ時間がないのに…。

Now (September 2), we are a little further along,
 but here's the problem!

Clothes are not coming...!

Why is it a big problem if 
the clothes don't come?

Because the embroidery is finished 
and just needs to be sewn 
onto the clothes at the end, 
even though the clothes have to
 be delivered on the 6th.

We have to sew and embroider 
at the same time to make it in time, 
so the embroidery is going on with the embroidery 
and the clothes are going on with the clothes....

I want to sew quickly,
 but if the clothes don't come,
 the work stops!

今年も東京家政大学の学生さんたちが
レンミッコへやってきました。

学生さんに講義をするときは
前回の反省を生かした内容になるように
アイデア、準備頑張ります。

学生さんたちが知りたいこと、やりたいこと
私たちが知って欲しいこと、やって欲しいこと

どうやって限られた時間で伝えられるか
こうやってみたらどうか、こうするともっとわかりやすいのでは？
といろいろ話し合います。

刺繍枠とかぎ針がないとできない刺繍のことだけ
説明しても、やり方見せても
学生さんたちはすぐに使うことができません。

そこで、今年の実技時間は
すぐ使いたくなる、すぐ使える技術を
一緒にやってみることにしました。

みんなで同じモチーフを一個ずつ刺繍します。

刺繍したパーツを無地のワンピースに
ピンで止めていきます。

パーツが一個ずつ増えていくと
どんどん華やかに変わっていきます。
１２個+レンミッコのサンプル２個
合計１４個の刺繍パーツ
たった30分足らずで
素敵なワンピースになっちゃいました。

これなら、みんな自分でもやってみようと
思ってくれるかな？
やってみてくれるととっても嬉しいな。

学生さんたちのキラキラした目に
刺激を受けて、今日も夜な夜な頑張ります。

How can we convey them in a limited time?
How about doing it this way or that way?
We discuss various ideas.

an embroidery frame and a crochet hook.
Even if I explain and show them how to do it
students are not able to use it right away.

So this year, we are going to
I decided to work with them on techniques
that they will want to use immediately and

We decided to try it with them.

襟に刺繍

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

襟に刺繍。
シンプルな襟に装飾すると
時にはディテールを壊すことも。

しかし今回の刺繍は
刺繍もシンプルだから
問題なし！

でもシンプルな刺繍が故に
もっと気を使う事があります。

それはシワです。

ビーズ刺繍となると
それぞれの素材を
引っ張り合うので
シワが発生します。

そのシワを起こさないように
今回の襟にも一工夫。

今回の襟も傑作です！

To avoid wrinkles, 
we made a twist on the collar this time.

This collar is also a masterpiece!

刺繍のアトリエ

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ショップからアトリエがチラリ。

でも中までは見れない…。
何も作業していなければどうぞ中へ…と
言いたいところなんだけど、
コレクションのサンプルや
量産の作業途中とか
作業途中の刺繍があるので
なかなかお招きできません。

今も早い段階でパリコレのサンプルを
刺繍してます。

こんな状態なので、
大まかな写真ですが
アトリエ内の壁のご紹介。

サンプルが飾ってあったり
素材の箱が並べられていたり
（棚は旧アトリエの棚をそのまま持ってきました）
中２階へ上る階段に
お花の刺繍のサンプルがあったり
本棚もあります。

旧アトリエはＬ字の建物だったので
導線がイマイチでしたが
今は四角になったので解消！

この形になっただけで
ずいぶん楽になりました。

the Paris Collection at an early stage.


Since it's in such a state,
 here are some rough pictures
 of the walls in the atelier.


There are samples on display, 
boxes of materials (we brought the shelves from the old atelier), 
samples of flower embroidery on the stairs to the mezzanine floor, 
and bookshelves.

It's much easier now that it's in this shape.

小花や鳥の刺繍

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

アトリエは片付けつつ
もちろん刺繍も進行中。

かわいい小花と鳥の刺繍。

経験論からすると
素材数を多く使いすぎると
ごちゃごちゃな刺繍になる。

なのでこの刺繍も
多彩な刺繍だけど
素材を厳選。
リボンや糸、ビーズ…それから革。

あとはステッチなどの縫い方で
アレンジ刺繍です。

まだ完成ではないけれど
少しずつ進めてます。

if you use too many materials, 
you end up with a messy embroidery.

Therefore, this embroidery is also 
a variety of embroidery,

with stitches and other sewing techniques.

It is not finished yet, 
but I am working on it little by little.
