まずは先週末の蚤の市ですが、
多くのお客様が来て頂きました。

暑い中ありがとうございます…。
今回も宝物はみつけられましたか？

一番上の画像は14時位の店内。
オープン後の12時位は
広くなった店内も
ごった返し状態で、
お客様にはご迷惑おかけしましたが、
楽しんで頂けたら幸いです…。

それから先週行ったDior展。
（現在も開催中/16日まで？）

Diorの衣装は幾度も見てきましたが
飽きないですね…。
去年？一昨年？に開催したDior展とは
展示の数では少ないですが
それでも刺繍を学ぶため行きました。

展示物を見ただけで満足せず
見る度に新たな刺繍の何かを
発見します！

And then there was the Dior exhibition
 we went to last week (still open/to 16th?).
（I have seen Dior's costumes many times.)

I have seen Dior's outfits many times, 
but I never get tired of them....
Last year? The year before last?
 I went there to learn about embroidery, 
though the number of exhibits was not as many 
as the Dior exhibition held last year
 or the year before.

I was not satisfied just by looking at the exhibits,
 but every time I look at them, 
I discover something 
new about embroidery!

またまた急な報告ですみません。
明明後日の日曜日6月30日に、
ショップ内の一角にて
「レンミッコの小さな蚤の市」
を開催します。
引越し作業中にアトリエの
奥から救出されたビーズやスワロフスキー、
ヴィンテージのブレード、
古い手刺繍のマルチクロスやドイリー、
レース…
その他素材を放出。

一部のバラビーズについて、
どれでもお好きなビーズ（1種類でも3種類でも！）
スプーン3杯で350円にてお持ち帰りいただける
コーナーも設ける予定です。

ショップも通常営業しますので、
ちいさな蚤の市とショップ、
両方楽しんでください！

On the Sunday after tomorrow, June 30,
 we will hold 
"Lemmikko's Little Flea Market" at the store.
We will be selling beads,
 Swarovski, 
vintage braid, 
old hand embroidered multicloths,
 doilies, lace...
and other materials found during our move.

For some of the rose beads,
 you can buy any beads 
you like (one or three!) 
You can buy them with 3 spoons.

The store will be open as usual, 
so please enjoy both the little
 flea market and the store!

襟に刺繍

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

襟に刺繍。
シンプルな襟に装飾すると
時にはディテールを壊すことも。

しかし今回の刺繍は
刺繍もシンプルだから
問題なし！

でもシンプルな刺繍が故に
もっと気を使う事があります。

それはシワです。

ビーズ刺繍となると
それぞれの素材を
引っ張り合うので
シワが発生します。

そのシワを起こさないように
今回の襟にも一工夫。

今回の襟も傑作です！

Decorating a simple collar can 
sometimes destroy the detail.

But this time, embroidery is simple,
 so there is no problem!

But because it is simple embroidery, 
there is something to 
be more careful about.

That is wrinkles.

When it comes to bead embroidery, 
each material is pulled, 
and that causes wrinkles.

To avoid wrinkles, 
we made a twist on the collar this time.

This collar is also a masterpiece!

刺繍のアトリエ

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ショップからアトリエがチラリ。

でも中までは見れない…。
何も作業していなければどうぞ中へ…と
言いたいところなんだけど、
コレクションのサンプルや
量産の作業途中とか
作業途中の刺繍があるので
なかなかお招きできません。

今も早い段階でパリコレのサンプルを
刺繍してます。

こんな状態なので、
大まかな写真ですが
アトリエ内の壁のご紹介。

サンプルが飾ってあったり
素材の箱が並べられていたり
（棚は旧アトリエの棚をそのまま持ってきました）
中２階へ上る階段に
お花の刺繍のサンプルがあったり
本棚もあります。

旧アトリエはＬ字の建物だったので
導線がイマイチでしたが
今は四角になったので解消！

この形になっただけで
ずいぶん楽になりました。

 but there are samples of collections,
 mass production in progress, 
and embroidery work in progress, 
so it is difficult to invite you in.


I am still embroidering samples for 
the Paris Collection at an early stage.


Since it's in such a state,
 here are some rough pictures
 of the walls in the atelier.


There are samples on display, 
boxes of materials (we brought the shelves from the old atelier), 
samples of flower embroidery on the stairs to the mezzanine floor, 
and bookshelves.

It's much easier now that it's in this shape.

小花や鳥の刺繍

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

アトリエは片付けつつ
もちろん刺繍も進行中。

かわいい小花と鳥の刺繍。

経験論からすると
素材数を多く使いすぎると
ごちゃごちゃな刺繍になる。

なのでこの刺繍も
多彩な刺繍だけど
素材を厳選。
リボンや糸、ビーズ…それから革。

あとはステッチなどの縫い方で
アレンジ刺繍です。

まだ完成ではないけれど
少しずつ進めてます。

From my experience, 
if you use too many materials, 
you end up with a messy embroidery.

Therefore, this embroidery is also 
a variety of embroidery, 
but the materials are carefully selected.
Ribbons, threads, beads, and leather.

The rest of the embroidery is arranged 
with stitches and other sewing techniques.

It is not finished yet, 
but I am working on it little by little.
